Trainer

Based on the experience of the trainers and the score obtained in the trainer assessment, they are given certificate and license under following category:

Provisional Trainer

  • 2 years of work/training experience
  • 80% marks in job role assessment
  • 70% marks in TVET assessment

License valid for 6 months.

Associate Trainer

  • 2 years of work/training experience
  • 80% marks in job role assessment
  • 80% marks in TVET assessment

License valid for 2 years. Can practice only with a licensed trainer.

Licensed Trainer

  • 2 years of work/training experience
  • 80% marks in job role assessment
  • 80% marks in TVET assessment

License valid for 2 years.


Master Trainer

The licenses for Master Trainers are awarded under three categories right now.

Category A

  • 5 years of work/training experience
  • 200 hours of training in specific job role you're applying for

License valid for 3 years.

Category B

  • 3 years of work/training experience
  • 200 hours of training in specific job role you're applying for
  • Contributor to coursewares with SSC NASSCOM

License valid for 3 years.

Category C

  • 3 years of work/training experience
  • 90%+ marks in TVET assessment as well as job role assessment

License valid for 3 years.


Train the Trainer Program

Train the Trainer (TTT) program is launched to enhance the quality of existing trainers involved in Qualification Packs (QP) based courses. TTT is conducted at predefined locations of SSC NASSCOM Affiliated Training Partner/s (announced in advance)

A Training Partner can also create a pool of the local trainers for TTT at its location and Master Trainer. Master Trainer travels to the location of the requesting Training Partner.

How do I know if I’m eligible to be a trainer or master trainer?

Usually, a trainer requires more than 2 years of work or training experience in the field he or she wishes to impart training in. Additionally, the person must score more than 80% in the trainer assessments one undergoes after applying as a trainer with SSC. Having said that, there are several different categories of trainers that you can apply to. You can learn more details on the Trainer Toolkit page.
